Small dog pet fence

If you have a smaller dog, take a look at the PetSafe In-Ground Deluxe Little-Dog Fence. It has a much lighter collar and an adjustable correction level to suit your little dog.

Also, if you'll be installing your dog fence in low traffic areas, you don't have to dig a trench and bury the boundary wire. Just use these lawn staples to tack it down. This works particularly well in wooded areas of your lawn as the falling leaves will eventually bury the surface mounted wire.

This site has a lot of good info on do-it-yourself dog electric fence installation, although his listed prices are quite high. Just get what you need at Amazon.

More information about What is an Electronic Pet Fence?

An electronic wireless dog fence or an underground wired dog fence is a nice alternative to traditional wooden, iron or chain link fences.

A pet fence provides a safe and reliable pet containment option without spoiling the look of your back yard and is oftentimes easier and less costly to install.

In many cases, an electronic pet fence provides a win-win scenario for the pet and owner: your pet gets the full freedom that they want, while the owner gets the security of knowing that their dog is safe and protected.

Electronic dog fences come in a variety of configurations including: ultrasonic, wireless, static correction, WiFi and underground. They are suitable for small dogs and large dog breeds.
