I need to find someone who knows how to remodel a bathroom. I've never done it before. My current bathroom has a large whirlpool tub, a vanity, a toilet and a shower. Would like something with a cleaner, more modern look.

Find someone for remodeling the bathroom in your home

I found my bathroom remodeler via ServiceMagic.

They matched me to a handful of bathroom remodelers in my area who listened to my needs and provide me with professional design plans and an accurate job estimate. All that for the low price of free.

UPDATE: Although I haven't started my project, I did find 4 great local contractors via Service Magic and have selected one of them (starting project in two weeks). The Service Magic process was simple and definitely helped me find some contractors that I might have otherwise missed. It gave me decent price negotiating leverage on the bids as well, since I had so many viable options. That was really nice for sure. - timfou 2 years, 4 months ago

My cost for a bathroom designer for remodeling the bathroom in my home

Hi Tim, I just replied on another user's post looking for someone to design a bathroom. Not sure if you have already gone through that stage. If not, check out my reply.

In summary, I got great value out of using a professional bathroom designer for my own remodel project. She pushed me to do things I wouldn't have done on my own and the finished product looks wonderful.

My designer charged me $75 per hour and billed me for 20 total hours. So my total design cost was $1,500, which for me, was money well spent.

Best of luck on your own bathroom remodel. It's a room you use every day and to have it designed to your exact specifications is a true pleasure!
