I have ice dams all over my roof this year and I'm starting to get water leaking into my house. I hear roof heat cables may prevent ice dams and leaking?

I also have an Amazon Prime account. Want a few cult movie classics that I can stream for free.

With all these snowstorms, there has been a ton of snow and ice accumulating on my roof. I've been told a roof rake is needed to remove snow from my roof. What exactly is a roof rake and why do I need it?

Which type of salt is best? Magnesium Chloride, Calcium Chloride, or Sodium Chloride (Rock salt)? Are there any other alternative de-icers (liquid ice melter)? Are ice melt salts safe for asphalt, cement, or grass, plants, and other vegatation?

I would like a snowblower, powerful but compact. Would like to know if electric vs. gas would be better for me.

Want rentals BEFORE going to our local ski mountain. Ski rental packages can be more expensive with questionable quality equipment. Also takes time to rent skis at the mountain. Looking for a local place where I can rent them for a few days beforehand.
